The unofficial end to this pandemic summer has arrived. Labor Day weekend weather is supposed to be spectacular pushing everyone to get out and possibly. Even with COVID-19 restrictions in place, this holiday weekend is expected to be a busy one. Connecticut residents are looking to squeeze in any possible outdoor activity before the summer ends. Unfortunately celebrating in large gatherings with alcohol not only increases the possibility of getting arrested; now it may also contribute to getting infected with COVID. 3-D Bail Bonds’ agents are recommending to check for warrants, lock your cars, wear a mask, and most importantly, stay safe if you plan on being social this Labor Day weekend.

During a recent press release Gov. Lamont called on Connecticut residents to continue wearing masks, practicing social distancing and most importantly to stay home when not feeling well to avoid a resurgence of COVID-19 in our state. With all restrictions in place, Connecticut seems to be maintaining 1%, or under 1%, rate of infections with schools only having been reopened a few weeks.

Coincidently, the Department of Public Health in Connecticut issued a COVID-19 Alert in Connecticut today stating “concern over the many gatherings and cookouts that are scheduled all over Connecticut for the holiday weekend.” According to a news release from the agency issued Friday. It’s especially important to remember asymptomatic carriers whom without any symptoms could be spreading the infection to healthy residents.
